After being quoted £35,671.80 for a dilapidations case on their property at Unit 8 Alexandria Drive, CL Trading made use of CVS’ dilapidations service.

After tough negotiation, CVS reached an agreement at £12,500, saving the Client £23,171.80.

CVS Comment:

“Although the tenant had undertaken extensive works prior to vacating, there was still a significant dilapidations claim. The landlord argued that some of the works the tenant completed were not up to standard. This case highlights the need to seek advice from a Dilapidations Surveyor prior to undertaking any works, so that the specification and standard of works is agreed with the landlord prior to undertaking the work. That said our involvement resulted in a significant saving of £23,171.80 for the Client.”
