Cotswold Inns & Hotels Ltd was born in 1997, providing an invigorating and tempting mix of contemporary chic and classic Cotswolds charm. Michael and Pamela Horton have ensured that the whole character of Cotswold Inns & Hotels is modelled on their own home; relaxed, friendly, good looking but not demanding, and quintessentially English.

Results

CVS acts on behalf of Cotswold Inns & Hotels’ entire property portfolio. To date, CVS has secured business rates reductions across five of its hotels, equating to savings of over £85,000 across the seven year Rating List, with further reductions anticipated to be achieved. This particular piece outlines how CVS secured the reduction on the Bay Tree Hotel.

CVS Comment:

"This Hotelier has had great success in increasing turnover across the portfolio of acquired premises. I reviewed the passing turnover across the portfolio and submitted selected premises to initially appeal. The reduction on the Bay Tree Hotel in Burford, Oxfordshire was achieved by partially arguing overtrading and also by reducing the bid applied to reflect their high running costs. I have dealt with a number of their appeals and I hope to continue with future success."
