Results

After the assessment of two Office & Warehouse premises in Leeds, it was agreed that the original valuation on both properties was valued at too high an amount.

The Surveyor managed to secure a reduction for both based on revised areas and relativities, generating savings of over £11,000 across the seven year Rating List.

“At inspection of the properties, I realised that the tone of the properties was accurate as it was in line with many other industrial properties in Leeds. However, I found that the Valuation Office Agency’s measurements were incorrect. I also felt that some of the relatives adopted were high given the quality of the accommodation. I confirmed with the client at Gecko Direct Ltd that there were some physical issues with the sites which I then used to compile my reduction proposal. The VOA agreed and now, our client is paying fair rates.”
